The Trailblazer Foundation Overview

Having witnessed the difficulty that people in many developing countries have in meeting their basic needs, and believing in the ability for each of us to make a difference, Chris & Scott Coats established The Trailblazer Foundation in 2004.

Scott & Chris have spent the last 4 years in Cambodia working with the rural communities and learning directly what their needs are. The main focus and need is clean water, school construction, and economic development.

The Trailblazer Foundation helps to provide clean water by constructing and installing pump wells, cement ring pit wells, and bio-sand water filters. They also provide training and water pump/ filter maintenance instruction to aid in the sustainability of the water projects.

A great deal of The Trailblazer Foundation resources comes from networking and collaborating with international government and non-government community development and other aid organizations.
