Collaboration
Once we arrive within each identified village we then work within the context of the Cambodian and village culture, establishing trust, fostering relationships, and supporting the village infrastructure. Trailblazer works with village, commune and district level officials on a community development plan to address growth and meet the on-going needs identified by villagers.
Additionally, because we work within the government development process our project activities can be tracked, monitored and documented by the government for inclusion in their reporting. These reports substantiate the impact Trailblazer has on improving health, economic status and quality of life.
By the end of 2011 Trailblazer was working directly in 19 villages, 6 communes, 3 districts, and indirectly in 16 villages, 11 communes, 6 districts through 8 partnering Non-government Organizations [NGOs].
