The Sras Primary School Food Program began in the spring of 2006 with the entrepreneurial motivation of a Sras Village widow, Peni. Peni was making a basic noodle soup and serving the students of Sras Primary School.
Because of her initiative Trailblazer granted additional equipment for help her endeavors. Trailblazer also informed the World Food Program (WFP) of Peni?s activities and WFP sent a representative to visit her school food program to investigate if the program qualified for WFP support.
In order for a school to qualify for WFP support, it must:

The Sras Primary School Food Program qualified for and was included in the World Food Program support list since June 2006. Vegetable seeds, canned fish, legumes, and rice supplied by the WFP augments the nutritional value of the breakfasts being served by the School Food Lady.
Additionally, because the schools we construct are government supported, they can also qualify for World Food Program support.
