Bio

Don Kushner has been honored to join the Trailblazer Board in 2011 after years of cheerleading from the sidelines. While traveling in Cambodia, it was by chance that Don and his girlfriend reconnected with fellow Jackson Hole friends Chris & Scott Coats and then introduced to the wonderful accomplishments of their NGO: Trailblazer Foundation. More than anything else though, it was the warm and generous people of Siem Reap and the integrity of Trailblazers work that inspired Don to accept an invitation to be a part of this important organization. Dons professional background is embedded in the arts, and has an extensive history in the theatre, television and film industry. He is currently senior management for the Center for the Arts in Jackson Hole and serves as board chair for the Cultural Council of Jackson Hole, a funding arm and consultant group for the elected officials of the city of Jackson and Teton County. Don has over 25 years experience in non-profit operations across the US and consults regularly to several 501c3 organizations. Don´s travels have taken him off the beaten path across the globe where he finds the best of humanity far from the politics and pavement of large cities. The people of Cambodia have found a warm place in his heart and Don is quite excited to contribute in any way he can to their survival and well being.
